Playing with photo programs

So I found a new photo program: Picnik and I've been playing around with it over my fall break. There not great photos but I was just having fun.

Parents weekend: The Citadel...again

So once again I shot at the Citadel. This weekend was parents weekend which is a pretty big deal. So about 1/2 way into the parade it started to rain. Sad day, I had to stop shooting and put away my camera. So no shots of the game or any other part of the day....Sad. But here's the best of the best for ya:

So the citadel campus: I end up there at least 3 days a week therefor a ton of photos will be from there, the first time I shot there was probably over a year ago yet the first time i shot with my new camera was at The Citadel. So the best from that day:

The Citadel Pipe Band. I loved how clear this photo was. Sitting about half way across the field using about a 220 mm zoom and using manual focus, yeah I'm a little proud.
